Set Up Care
I offer therapy for women and queer people navigating life transitions and burnout. My approach includes art therapy, somatic therapy and trauma informed therapy. To get started, follow the steps below to book a consultation. If it feels like a great fit, we'll book your first therapy session by the end of our consult call. If you're ready to dive in and experience a unique and joy-filled way to care for your mental health, I would love to support you!
My Clients &Their Needs
My clients value community, justice, the environment, and empathy. They seek connection, clarity, simplicity and inspiration to make new and different choices. They are artists, teachers, entrepreneurs and caregivers.
You can expect warmth and enthusiasm weaved with humility and guidance in our work together.
I help you welcome hard moments as opportunities for self-inquiry and evolution, support you in retelling the stories of your life in your own empowered voice, and boldly mirror back what I believe is possible for you with encouragement, authenticity and humor.

Follow These Steps
-
Who do you work with?I specialize in supporting women navigating life transitions like parenting, career change, and menopause. I also specialize in supporting individuals 18 and up across the LGBTQ+ spectrum. My clients are often artists, entrepreneurs, caregivers or healers.
-
When are sessions available?I see clients in person and online Monday-Thursday 10-5 (last session at 4pm). If you have specific needs regarding scheduling, make sure to discuss this during our consultation.
-
Which clients are you an ideal match for?I'm an ideal match for clients seeking an emotionally and verbally expressive therapist who is warm and empathetic. My clients are ready to commit to weekly sessions and comfortable with trying non-traditional approaches to care (breath-work, creative activities). Wherever you are on your journey with mental health, I will empower you with creative guidance, motivating you to activate your intuition and pursue joyful growth.
-
Who are you not an ideal match for?I'm a not an ideal match for clients who are under 18, couples, and clients seeking behavioral intervention, solutions oriented care or short-term counseling. I am also not a crisis counselor and thus not a fit for clients who have active suicidal ideation, are in recovery from substance use, completing eating disorder treatment, or are experiencing domestic violence.
-
What are your hourly rates?Intake Assessment for All New Clients- $225 Weekly Therapy Session- $200 Insurance copays and deductibles depend on your plan.
-
Do you accept insurance?I am in network with Premera and Lifewise. If you have benefits with another insurance carrier, I partner with Reimbursify to make Out of Network reimbursement hassle free.
-
Do I have to be an artist to do Expressive Arts Therapy?Absolutely not! This therapeutic approach is open to people of any skill level. In fact, clients who are masters in their craft are often more challenged by the loose structure of expressive arts therapy than those more new to creative expression.
-
How is using the arts in therapy useful?Think of it this way, rather than one tool in your tool belt (language), we have dozens (images, color, sensations, movement, sound, etc.) Non-verbal techniques of expressive arts therapy and somatic work are used in conjunction with traditional talk therapy to successfully overcome areas where you might feel "stuck" or "blocked". Learn more here.
-
What does a session actually look like?At your first appointment we discuss your comfort level with different creative formats and pick at least 1-2 to use in session as a compliment to talk therapy. An example session: Begin with a 15-20 minute traditional therapy check in. We then move into using an art form for exploration to process whatever feels relevant for 20-30 minutes. Finally, we close with 10 minutes of insight building and reflection.
-
What if I don't want to do creative activities?I don't ask clients to do anything they are uncomfortable with and always empower folks to say "no thanks" or "that's not my thing". However, if you do not have interest in using the arts on a regular basis, I'm not the best therapist for you!
